Market Intelligence Manager, Pricing Execution

InterSystems is seeking a highly skilled Market Intelligence Manager - Pricing Execution to join our team. This role is pivotal in executing comprehensive B2B pricing strategies that align with our organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, exceptional communication skills, and experience in the technology sector, particularly in SaaS and managed services environments. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Organizational Alignment:  Enable the execution of pricing models through effective organizational alignment.  Ensure the pricing strategy is consistently and effectively implemented to minimize revenue loss.  Margin and Cost Analysis:  Provide detailed analysis of margin and costs to ensure products and services are priced to deliver adequate returns.  Identify and remediate scenarios where pricing unintentionally leads to losses.  Generate regular reports and analysis to track and improve pricing performance over time.  Consulting and Market Analysis:  Offer consulting services to product management and product marketing teams.  Conduct formal market opportunity analysis during new product launches to inform pricing strategies.  Documentation and Communication:  Document decisions and analysis along the pricing value chain.  Help product, sales, and marketing teams understand the rationale and implications behind pricing decisions.  Standardization and Strategy Development:  Collaborate with the Executive Pricing Committee to create standardized approaches for packaging, licensing, and pricing models.  Ensure pricing decisions are synchronized with product launch timelines and developed in parallel with product development.  Financial Analysis and Forecasting:  Conduct financial analysis and forecasting for new product offerings.  Perform scenario analysis to evaluate various pricing considerations and their potential impacts.  Pricing Execution:  Oversee the implementation of pricing strategies to ensure they are executed effectively across all relevant channels.  Monitor and manage pricing execution to ensure consistency with established strategies and goals. 

Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred).  Minimum of 5 years of experience in market intelligence pricing analysis, preferably in the technology sector.  Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Experience in SaaS and managed services environments.  Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments and with senior leadership.
