Our HLS marketing team is a deeply collaborative group, driving close coordination across product marketing, thought leadership, customer references, while maintaining interdisciplinary relationships across sales, product management, research and development (R&D), and more.
As a **Market and Competitive Intelligence Analyst** in our **Compete Team in Health and Life Sciences Marketing** you will specialize in the provider market, our Dragon solution family and nursing, and will also lead our market differentiation as we expand our copilot capabilities and enter new geos. We are looking for a dedicated researcher, analyst, and effective author and communicator, who can sift through vast information and transform datapoints into a narrative and viewpoint, articulating our opportunities and threats. As a researcher and analyst, you will operationalize our intelligence cycle from collection, to collation, analysis, and dissemination, ensuring insights reach stakeholders at pivotal moments in written and spoken form.

**Responsibilities**
+ Conduct market research and establish understanding and point of view on competing offers.
+ Monitor and analyze healthcare competitor activity in key categories, including ambient clinical documentation, and track compete developments related to generative AI in digital health tools impacting provider workflows, including nurses.
+ Monitor and analyze market trends related to the provider market, including key pain points and opportunities. Develop a narrative, describing the provider market and strategic opportunities.
+ Partner with sales and external vendor to accumulate win-loss insights. Communicate learnings internally through various channels, ensuring actionable learnings reach cross-matrix team members.
+ Maintain competitive assets, including battlecards. Author memos, communications, and intelligence summaries as needed and with urgency to inform internal audiences and influence Microsoft’s response to key developments.
+ Collaborate with product marketing, thought leadership, customer reference teams, and others to improve our compete posture.
+ Influence key leaders in each area as needed to ensure Microsoft is a compelling offer for customers.
**Qualifications**
Required/Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Journalism, History, Philosophy, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business
+ OR Master's Degree in in Marketing, Journalism, History, Philosophy, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business
+ OR equivalent experience
+ Experience conducting market research
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
+ Healthcare industry experience, including understanding of the healthcare industry, healthcare provider organizations, and emerging trends in the healthcare industry, including digital health and generative AI.
+ Experience in competitive intelligence, including knowledge of the intelligence cycle and developing deliverables for sales that enable competitive differentiation.
+ Proven ability to write effectively in both short, concise updates and in long-term narratives and assessments with precise writing.
+ Proven ability to conduct research and synthesize large amounts of information into clear and compelling takeaways.
+ 2-3 writing samples that demonstrate your analytical and writing communication skills.
Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
