Job Description

Reporting to the Director, Marketplace Intelligence & Strategy; You will help support the Marketplace Intelligence team and broader sales organization in three ways by: 1) applying analytical skills in analyzing client spend across the market to identify opportunities and threats in ad spend; 2) creating, tracking, and managing materials, proposals, and presentations across the NBCUniversal portfolio; 3) convey macro trends into insightful materials that showcase their potential impact to marketers. You will help the team deliver unique and compelling insights and analytics to support the broader sales organization. Aiding strategic development of client pitches and informational materials, some responsibilities are but not limited to:

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in the creation and ongoing enhancement of forecasting effortsProactively use data to uncover and quantify sales opportunities for sales teamsProactively use data to generate compelling analytics and insights to support client communication and marketing strategiesCoordinate and collaborate across the organization to build compelling client/agency facing materials in support of the sales organizationProcure, clean and ingest data for mid to large scale analytic projectsAid in procuring and testing new data sourcesTest validity of current data and analytic approachesCreate and manage tracking for all requests and documents for internal distribution/communicationDevelop knowledge of the entire NBCUniversal portfolioTrack and develop a point of view on macro trends (economic, social) and their impact to the advertising market

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

BA/BS or equivalent experience in Social Science, Economics, Statistics or similar field of study2+ of relevant experience

Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and within ExcelWilling to constantly ask questions and learnStrong organizational skills – ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesTeam player with strong communication and interpersonal skillsPassion for story telling through dataExcellent writing skills including presentation developmentOutstanding reading comprehension skillsUnderstanding of advertising space and recent industry trends a plusPassionate about the television and digital media space

Additional Requirements:

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
