Position Characteristics:

The DC Specialist will work closely with the DC Coordinator to assess with their daily activities and responsibilities to assure accurate records of inventory as well as timely shipping of finished product to ensure customer satisfaction.

A result driven individual who has demonstrated ability working in a high performance-manufacturing environment.Proven working knowledge of Shipping and Receiving Department.Must have good attention to details.Must be able to manage multiple, complex tasks and deal easily with pressure on a day in and day out basis.Must be able to motivate, communicate and drive continuous improvement.Critical thinker, with excellent analytical abilities.Good written and oral communication skills.Solid planning, leadership, and administrative skills.  High energy demonstrates urgency and fast pace.Must be able to communicate with Supply Chain, Inside Sales, and Transportation.Must be able to use Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Education:

1 -2 years data entry experience and/or office clerical experience.Comfortable with various computer software systems.Required - High School Diploma.  Prefer Associates degree or higher in a related field.Prefer Production Management Certificate

Experience:

Knowledge of MRPII2 - 3 years previous manufacturing resource planning and material resource planning.Strong analytical skills.APICS Affiliation a plus.

Position Specific Responsibilities:

Process all shipping and receiving files and records. Communicate directly with the sales office, production control, and manufacturing any change in schedule or any manufacturing problem that will affect delivery.Process all bills of lading.Allocation of ordersHandle customer service requests regarding inventory.Upon direction, reconcile cycle counts.Ship samples and UPS Small packages.Perform other tasks that are reasonable to the job as requested.
