As a Manufacturing systems Interfaces & Equipment Connectivity Lead for Insulin Flexible Facility in Frankfurt within our Global Manufacturing Systems & Automation team, you’ll be part of Insulin automation’s team and report into an Automation Project lead. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of connectivity solutions for all equipment within the organization. This leadership role involves strategic planning, team management, and ensuring that all equipment connectivity aligns with organizational goals and industry standards.
Main responsibilities:
Ensure project implementation aligns with customer orders in terms of costs, deadlines, quality, and resources, coordinating with the project team, operators, and supervisors, and initiating corrective actions for any deviationsDevelop and execute the strategy for equipment connectivity to enhance organizational goals and improve operational efficiencyLead and manage a team of connectivity experts, providing guidance, support, and managing performance to achieve project objectivesOversee the design and deployment of scalable, secure connectivity solutions for various equipment and systems, such as MES, Data Historian, and KepwareEnsure connectivity solutions align with industry best practices and meet organizational needs while coordinating cross-functional teams, including engineering and digital departmentsProvide high-level support for resolving complex connectivity issues, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure efficient problem resolutionEnsure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and security requirements for all equipment connectivity solutions, while maintaining comprehensive documentation of systems, configurations, and changesAbout you
