The Manufacturing Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the assigned departments, ensuring accountability, reliability, and strong communication within the team. They will be focused on promoting a safe and efficient work environment while prioritizing team building, productivity, and adherence to schedule.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Lead the operations of the assigned department, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.Lead and manage hourly team members, providing direction, support, and training as needed.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, providing training as required.Uphold and enforce company policies and practices fairly and consistently.Monitor and ensure adherence to internal and external quality standards.Communicate effectively with direct reports, management counterparts, and external contacts.Evaluate, manage, and motivate direct reports, fostering a high-performance culture with a focus on continuous improvement.Drive results in a lean manufacturing environment to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs.

• Responsible for hiring within the department, ensuring the best-fit candidates are selected.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Competencies:

Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing (with at least 25 direct reports); experience in metal fabrication and finishing preferred.Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field preferred.Strong computer skills, proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), ERP systems, and ADP.Proven ability to lead teams, build employee engagement, and promote a high-performance culture.Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills, able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and external contacts.Commitment to driving results in a lean manufacturing environment to achieve KPIs.
