Manufacturing Supervisor -- 2nd Shift

Curtiss-Wright are looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor (2nd Shift) to join our growing team! The ideal candidate will be strong manufacturing leader of involved in daily shop and project team meetings to ensure the manufacturing team's efforts provide all of the support necessary to support manufacturing flow in a high mix / low volume manufacturing work environment.
**Location: Summerville, SC**
**Your Challenge:**
+ Supervise employees on the manufacturing floor for different shifts. This position will be primarily assigned to 2nd Shift.
+ Maintain compliance to business policies and procedures pertaining to safety, housekeeping and work habits.
+ Ensure product is manufactured to specifications and procedures under the guidelines of written work instructions.
+ Plans and coordinates work assignments in support of production plans. Develop and implement plans to eliminate work backlog and support achievement of balance workload.
+ Lead the area of responsibility in Safety, Rework reduction, Throughput improvement, lean manufacturing, 5S and quality improvement initiatives through the development, implementation, and monitoring of leader standard work.
+ Define and implement individual training & development programs based on the assessment of individual skills inventories.
+ Strong skills as a team leader and team building.
+ Ability to schedule and prioritize work based on production schedules, and available resources.
+ Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
+ Able to communicate objectives and results to those below and above.
**Your Expertise:**
+ High School diploma or equivalent,
+ Minimum three years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Engineering background is a plus.
+ Four year machinist journeyman graduate is a plus
+ Knowledgeable in NX and CNC Machining is a plus
+ Basic computer skill with the ability to use Oracle.
+ Willing to work back shifts and/or weekends
+ Must be a sole US citizen and able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance
