Manufacturing Service Coordinator

Role Summary:

The Service Coordinator's primary function involves planning and scheduling to execute the production plan and meet customer deliveries. The department reviews all repair and new bills of material to prepare products for production. Service Coordinator will engage in all aspects of QRC planning including new valves, parts, repair, automation, and field services. You will coordinate across various departments such as engineering, purchasing, sales and operations to ensure all customer expectations are met.

Responsibilities and Requirements

Job creation, cancellation, and reschedule accounting for material and capacity dailyProvide realistic schedule for valve release within production windowCommunicate effectively with plant, engineering, customer service, and other personnel to ensure objectives are achieved.Ensure work orders are released and sent to the shop dailyReview, create and release orders and valve packets to meet customer deliveries.Process BOM & Material Requirement changes for orders in productionProvide feedback to Sales Engineers & Commercial Operations daily.Strong Customer-service focus, with a personal ownership and initiative regarding quality, meeting deadlines, and problem-solving.On a daily basis, recognize and change make/buy decisions to reduce lead times

Preferred Experience/Skills:

Minimum of an associate’s degree from a college or technical school; or 3-4 years with related Planning and/or training for a service position; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledge and experience serving the variety of process control markets associated with the assigned products and / or regionExcellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present effective information in one-on-one or small group settings with customersDetail oriented with strong interpersonal and organizational skillsWillingness to work over-time as requiredComputer skills including Microsoft Office, Internet along with the ability and willingness to learn how to use other or new business software packages as required by the roleWorking ERP knowledge with Oracle preferred, &/or SAP ExperienceValve and Actuation shop experience is beneficial
