Description:You will be a key member of the Production Planning and Control team at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control's (MFC) Pike County Operations site in Troy, AL. Our team is responsible for supporting the manufacturing of complex mechanical and electronic assemblies, ensuring seamless production operations and optimizing resource utilization.

What You Will Be Doing
As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for planning activities associated with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions, maintaining production system integrity, and driving optimization. You will coordinate with various stakeholders to provide shop floor control and support the production operation.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining production system integrity and inventory accuracy
- Coordinating with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and program stakeholders
- Providing shop floor control on make parts
- Coordinating changes to the Bill of Materials (BOM) with engineering
- Driving optimization and improvement of manufacturing processes

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requiresspecial access. The selected candidate must have a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience (8 years of experience).

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance and must have a final secret clearance prior to starting. Lockheed Martin will assist candidate with obtaining a Final Secret Clearance prior to starting.

Experience communicating with peers, leadership, and internal customers effectively on multiple platforms (face-to-face, virtually, email, Teams, etc.).

Experience controlling and handling inventory.

Valid driver’s license.

Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
