As a Manufacturing Operator, you will be responsible for:

Ensuring company policies, procedures and operating instructions are followedComplying with all safety instructions, promoting individual and team safetyPromoting and maintaining Quality standardsParticipating in Risk AssessmentsSupporting the SOI audit process to ensure they remain compliant with best practiceIdentifying and reporting all Safety concerns, Quality issues and manufacturing problems before progressing any workReporting directly to the Lead Operator assisting in the set up and operation of equipment and machines

Performing all required tasks in accordance with standard operation instructions, risk assessments and company safety policies

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a mechanical aptitude and proven experience in a mechanical/manufacturing environmentAbility to work with hand tools, power tools (electric, pneumatic, hydraulic) such as grinders up to 9-inch, torque guns, bespoke metal forming / cutting tools essentialHave the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, manufacturing work orders, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manualsAbility to use measuring equipment (rules, verniers, tapes)Ability to think ahead and plan for tasksAbility to problem solveHave a working knowledge of Windows software, including specific ability in the advanced use of Excel spread sheets
