Job Description:

Location: Danbury, Connecticut

CoWorx Staffing Services has an immediate Manufacturing Material Handler opening in the Danbury, CT area!

Responsibilities:

• The Manufacturing Material Handler is responsible for making labels for receiving, removing waste cardboard, assembling and reassembling racks, taking inventory counts for the buyer or the planner, and packing mechanical components.
• Moving material in and out of palette racks using forklifts.
• Moving needed materials on time to assemblers while using a forklift.
• Making labels for sub-assemblies parts using MS Word label program.
• Taking waste cardboard and lumber to dumpsters.
• Assembling and reassembling pallet racks and shelves as needed.
• Taking special inventory counts for the buyer or planner.
• Packing components when needed.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in shipping/receiving
• Knowledge of weighing scales, weigh counts
• Must be proficient utilizing computers and automated equipment.
• Must be able to fluently read/write in English
