Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 6:00am - 2:30pm

OVERVIEW:
Working as Full-time Manufacturing Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for maintenance of machines, buildings and grounds of our manufacturing plant located at 61 Barnes Industrial Park North, Wallingford.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Tasking, training and assisting maintenance workers in machine repair and facilities maintenance
o Repairing and conducting preventative maintenance of fastener production machinery
o Repairing and conducting preventative maintenance of heat treating machinery
o Repairing and conducting preventative maintenance of building and grounds including occasional HVAC preventative maintenance
o Working to improve employee and safety committee concerns
o Planning and scheduling repairs and preventative maintenance with production control
o Leading and guiding internal maintenance employees
o Conducting contract negotiations with service vendors
o Providing support to manufacturing or environmental emergencies outside of normal working hours
o Remaining involved on the emergency response team

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements
o Possess 5 years of industry related maintenance experience
o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
o Demonstrate a mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail
o Demonstrate strong leadership, training and developmental skills
o Demonstrate trouble shooting skills in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
o Demonstrate strong math skills required for machining and cost estimation
o Desire to continuously improve the manufacturing process
o Lead and motivate a team of employees
o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
o Lift, slide, and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs
o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
o Prior work experience as a Maintenance Lead or Manager
o Prior experience in rebuilding machinery
