Manufacturing HR Manager
Description

We are looking for an experienced and driven Human Resources Manager to lead HR functions across multiple branch and fabrication sites. As the Victaulic Fabrication operation undergoes rapid growth, this pivotal role will partner with the General Manager of our Atlanta, Georgia facility and other key leaders to deliver strategic HR solutions, manage daily challenges, and ensure full compliance with labor laws and company policies. The ideal candidate is proactive, thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment, and is comfortable with establishing themselves the trusted Human Resources partner to all onsite. Key Responsibilities: Compliance and Regulations: Ensure adherence to company policies, union contract provisions (if applicable), and government regulations and laws concerning human resource matters.Policy Administration: Administer policies and procedures, including compliance and code of conduct training/verification. Assist employees and answer questions as needed.Supervisor Support: Provide assistance to supervisors and managers regarding employee issues, disciplinary actions, and policy administration.Talent Acquisition & Retention: Oversee the entire recruiting process, including generating candidates, resume evaluation and screening, interviewing, background checks, and making job offers. Develop, analyze, and implement practices and procedures to attract and retain employees. Participate in job/career fairs and other recruiting activities.Compensation and Benefits: Conduct wage, salary, and benefit surveys to ensure competitiveness in the area.Employee Onboarding: Conduct new employee orientation.Training and Development: Maintain the employee training matrix.HR Systems Management: Utilize HR systems to manage employee data and records, payroll, attendance tracking, performance management, transfers, and promotions.Disciplinary Actions: Administer disciplinary actions in accordance with rules and regulations.Employee Engagement: Coordinate and facilitate employee events such as open enrollment, hearing tests, wellness week, and celebratory and awards events.Reporting and Documentation: Prepare reports and correspondence as needed.Employee Handbook Maintenance: Maintain and update the employee handbook as needed.Union Relations: Advise the Director of Fabrication on plant requirements related to union contracts and assist in company-union labor contract negotiations if applicable. Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Human Resource Management.Highly prefer SHRM-CP or PHR certification is desirable.7-10 years of Human Resource management experience.Familiar with the use of HRIS.  Prior experience with Workday is a plus.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience with employee relations, compliance, recruiting, reporting and compensation.Knowledge of pertinent federal, state, and local employment laws.Good organizational skills, detailed oriented, able to multi-task.Willing to travel up to 20%
