Under close supervision, provides general HR assistance to local facility including recruiting, selection and staffing, employment and personnel documentation, job evaluation, compensation, and benefits. 3 years of experience in manufacturing required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•        Performs Employee Record maintenance via HRIS to ensure accuracy and confidentially.

•        Responsible for all onboarding activities for new hires.

•        Handles all new hire orientations to include safety training.

•        Maintain employee benefits by ensuring accurate enrollments and life event changes.

•        Handles recruiting activities such as job postings, resume reviews and interview schedules.

•        Examines employee files to answer inquiries and provides information to authorized persons.

•        Compiles data from HRIS and prepares reports.

•        Completes & reviews all background checks and e-verify (I9) documentation.

•        May assist with computing wages and recording data for use in payroll processing.

•        Compiles and maintains records for use in employee benefits administration.

•        FMLA, STD, LTD & ADA administration, and tracking, including benefit payback monitoring.

•        Complete requested assignments with limited direction or supervision.

•        Assist with company communications, HR policies/procedures, & training as needed.

•        Handles IT needs/requests for current employees and new hires.

•        Makes all new and replacement employee, contractor, vendor and visitor badges.

•        Other duties may be assigned.
