Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it. **Job Summary** This position you will be responsible for programming, and implementing automated welding processes within a manufacturing environment, including tasks like system implementation, troubleshooting, and process optimization, often requiring strong technical skills in programming, robotics, welding, production and manufacturing. **What You Will Do** + Oversee automated welding cells and provide engineering support in the planning, development and operation of Cobots cells. + Develop programs for new parts in the automated welding process, including but not limited to process and personnel qualification + Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for automation and optimization, implementing changes to improve efficiency and quality. + Lead automation projects from conception to completion, managing timelines, budgets and resources + Perform testing on manufactured products using specialized equipment, recording data and analyzing the results to identify potential problems and identify root causes of product defects and propose solutions. + Work closely with manufacturing engineers, production teams and other stakeholders to ensure the success of automation implementation. **Education Requirement:** Requires a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related field. Requires English Advanced. **What skills you will have:** **Decision Making and Critical Thinking** : + Knowledge of manufacturing practices and project management + Extensive knowledge in participating in the documentation of data, ideas, actors, stakeholders and processes. + Strong analytical, problem-solving and human relations skills. **Lean Manufacturing** : + Six Sigma functional knowledge. + Knowledge of basic tools for observing existing processes and identifying waste. Turnaround time/cycle time. + Understanding of quality systems, welding engineering practices. + Excellent ability to use data analysis tools to identify trends and optimize production processes. + Ability to analyze considerations for work cell design and monitoring effectiveness. + Ability to solve major technical and personnel problems associated with the transformation to Lean. **Manufacturing Processes** : + Advanced knowledge of APQP concepts; PFMEA, Control Plan, SWES, and MSA. + Advanced knowledge in welding process and manufacturing + Technical knowledge manufacturing, APQP, and GD&T. + Functional knowledge to develop tooling/fixturing/templates (essential). + Knowledge in Robot/Cobot programming **Additional Information:** + This position will be in Reynosa, Tamaulipas + Work from Monday to Saturday + <10% of working time will be domestic travel. + Relocation not available for this position **Final details:** Please frequently check the email associated with your application, including the junk/spam folder, as this is the primary correspondence method.
