Manufacturing Engineering Manager

By joining this organization you will be part of the transformation journey towards a world class Operations organization to better serve our customers with speed and excellence. **You are responsible for** Manager of a dedicated engineering department for equipment and process establishment & validation production preparation, maintenance and quality control. + Creates a working environment that continuously improves the Health and Safety of workers. + Leads a team of experts, ensures right capabilities build into your team. + Drives & manages activities related to manufacturing engineering, improving process yield, product & process design changes, cycle time improvement, costs and safety. + Propel your team to raise the bar by leaning and growing, and help others do the same. + Develops midterm engineering strategy, resources, and training plans. + Ensures stakeholder management. + Supports in prioritization/ focus of the team activities. Analyze using structural problem-solving techniques to prevent recurrence. + Establishes and controls the budget for Manufacturing related activities and continuous improvement of existing manufacturing methods, processes and equipment. + Manages and deploys the processes and standards with embedded quality into the way of working including adherence to compliance with safety, regulatory- and environmental requirements as well as local laws, Philips General Business principles and other policies. **You are a part of** You are part of Factory Best, one of the largest Medical Manufacturing Sites in Health Systems. Your part of Manufacturing Engineering, a team which is responsible for processes within + Service, Parts & Repair (SP&R) + Imaging Components (IC) + Refurbishment System (RS) You will be working closely with operations, quality and development. **To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience** + > 2 years of relevant experience. + Typical bachelor’s or master’s degree with relevant experience in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or equivalent. + Be capable to drive changes with sense of urgency and bias for action. + Intrinsic drive for collaboration both in working and learning together across organizational boundaries. + Analytical and conceptually strong. + Quality & Compliance mindset. + Accurate in communication and implementation. + Proven track record in managing, implementing and executing projects. + Experience with Medical Device Regulations (FDA, ISO, etc.). + A strong customer focus and the ability to deal with a large variety of activities and different stakeholders. + Fluent English (written and verbal), preferably also Dutch basic knowledge. **How we work together** We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. **This is an onsite role.** **About Philips** We are a health technology company.
