Job DescriptionUltra Precision Control Systems are looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager. As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager you will lead, manage and develop a team of manufacturing engineers responsible for the design, development, validation and on-going support of production systems to ensure the system produces product that consistently fulfils technical, quality and cost requirements. Develop a proactive team that exceed expectations in goals and objective and demonstrate Ultras leadership behaviours.The creation and implementation of best practice manufacturing engineering as well as developing, implementing and managing key performance indicators (KPIs). In the role you will be expected to drive continuous improvement activities in quality, cycle times, process improvement & machine availability.
Design, prove, implement, and maintain production systems to deliver product on time, to quality and cost requirements. A key element of the role is to manage and lead the team, ensuring adequate staffing levels, managing holiday allowances, recruitment, training, development, appraisal, attendance, disciplinary issues and daily supervision to maximise efficient productivity.
