Manufacturing Engineering Intern

SUMMARY:       

The internship will provide practical and professional experience that will enhance and complement classroom learning.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:           

Through this internship, you’ll have the opportunity to:

Gain hands-on experience in real-life manufacturing processes by reviewing standard work and set-up sheets to assist with the standardization in the areas of machining and assembly.Collaborate across departments on assigned projects working closely with the production floor team and office staff.Develop a well-rounded understanding of the production process while contributing to meaningful process improvements.

Self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong computer skills.

Education and Experience Requirements:           

A rising junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor's in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar field. 

Compensation:

$21.00-$27.00 per hour, commensurate with relevant experience and educational background.
 

Work Hours/Length of Program:

The internship will run from May to August.Targeting 40 hours per week.Exact start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules and the needs of the business.
