Support the key fundamentals of manufacturing: Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost Reduction initiatives through process development and process improvement projects. Projects are driven by process improvement, operations capital investment plan, overall ROI, product development initiatives and the operations business plan.

Highlights of your role Identify and implement continuous improvement activities within production and business processes.Develop manufacturing processes, standard work and create and maintain process documentation.Actively deploy and train lean concepts throughout the organization.Serve as Process Lead in PPT/IPT projects.Conduct extensive data analysis for effective problem solving.Assist in analyzing, identifying, and resolving production line problems and lead problem solving groups.Develop and maintain production line layouts and jigs/fixtures.Give direction and provide feedback on project viability.Investigate quality concerns to determine root causePrevent quality issues from leaving facility Compensation Annually- $81,000-$108,000 You're a good fit if you have (or if you can) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering requiredDemonstrated, strong written and oral communication skills requiredA minimum of one year of project management experience is requiredA minimum of one year of process development/process improvement experience is required Also want to make sure you have We are committed to providing a safe working environment, including properly functioning equipment, appropriate materials for the job at hand, and defined operating procedures. Work performed can usually be classified into one of four main categories, although an associate may frequently transition between different categories as he/she performs the various responsibilities of his/her position:

 

1. Plant Floor (Includes Shops, Warehouse/Storage and Logistics)

Characteristics may include:

· Work performed in a manufacturing floor environment or technical shop space· Exposure to various mechanical operations/prolonged operation of large equipment· Exposure to fork truck/industrial vehicle traffic· Potential for seasonal temperature variances· Low to Moderate levels of noise and dust· Must possess the ability to move about the plant floor and stand for extended periods· Routine bending, reaching and lifting (specific requirements are outlined by role in various Human Resource and Training documents)· In select technical roles, for which there is specialized training provided, there may be occasional exposure to electricity/electrical components and hot-work

2. Laboratory/Product Testing

Characteristics may include:

· Work is performed in a laboratory or designated testing environment· Potential for occasional strong odors and elevated noise levels· Low to moderate levels of dust

3. Professional Truck Drivers

Characteristics may include:

· Frequent travel via motor vehicle· Prolonged periods in a seated position· Requires the physical ability to safety maneuver often heavy products on/off a trailer

4. Office

Characteristics may include:

· Work performed in a standard clerical/office setting· Select positions may include occasional to frequent travel

 

Information about specific PPE required for your role, and area(s) of work, will be provided by your Supervisor/Manager and/or a member of the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) team. PPE signage is also prevalently posted throughout the facility.
