You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Senior - CNC Machining for our manufacturing team. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing efficient CNC machining processes to produce high-quality production parts.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineer Senior - CNC Machining, you will be responsible for creating and revising CNC machining programs to meet engineering, quality, and efficiency requirements. Your responsibilities will include:
• Creating and revising CNC machining programs for production parts
• Verifying CNC programs through prove-outs on production machines
• Specifying and controlling work holding and tooling
• Creating and revising manufacturing work instructions
• Troubleshooting and resolving production issues on the shop floor
• Training production machine operators
• Assisting in the acquisition and installation of new machines and tooling

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Knowledgeable of machining processes, able to evaluate and resolve machining problems.
Experience with CAM software (NX preferred).
Experience creating CNC machining programs for production parts.
Experience with 3D CAD software (PTC CREO preferred)
Experience programming G-code at the machine control.
Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and GD&T.
Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
Experience with some or all of the following machine types: VMCs, HMCs, CNC lathes, Mill-turn, and Gantry Mills.
Experience designing/specifying custom work-holding.
Experience writing manufacturing work instructions.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
