POSITION SUMMARY: 

Primary responsibilities in manufacturing are to drive department and enterprise key initiatives through continuous process improvement, improving customer satisfaction, reducing waste, increasing efficiency, and eliminating variation in manufacturing processes. Candidates for this position should have energy and passion to improve both our production and functional processes while leading with integrity.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partner with operations, RD&I, quality, maintenance, and supply chain functions to drive improvementsSupport of fabrication and assembly operations focused on improving Safety, Quality, Delivery and CostWork closely with production supervisors, team leads, and production employees to perform problem solving and root cause analysisLead continuous improvement projects aligned to lean manufacturing principlesLead cost reductions and yield improvements with delivery partnersUtilize sound project management tools for complex projects and key initiativesImprove equipment capability and reliabilityIdentify opportunities for error proofing and implement solutionsRespond to day to day production needs such as equipment troubleshooting and quality concernsManage the design, procurement, and startup of capital equipment projectsDevelop operator balance charts, machine balance charts, and staffing playbooks for assembly work cellsPartner with ongoing product development team to implement product design changes and line extensions Be highly visible within the value stream to create a safe environment for collaboration and participationPromote a hands on, high involvement approach to problem solving


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

4 year degree in Engineering or TechnologyOpen to varying levels of experienceEquipment procurement experienceStrong project management skillsStrong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principlesStrong knowledge of quality systems, SPC and process capability Positive attitude with a desire to build relationships and serve both our internal and external customersStrong, proactive communicator, effective both 1:1 and in groups

COMPENSATION: 

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. 

Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn between $79,412 - $123,088 annually.

In 2025 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
