Job Description

The manufacturing engineer - Project and Integration specialist is responsible for project planning, supplier management and integration execution for the small scale area in our queretaro plant.

 

Ramp up:

Monitor productivity and Improve and stabilize Manufacturing KPIs (Technical Availability, Reject Rate, Scrap, Downtime, CPKs, Cycle time)Support activities to address safety, quality and productivity for the assigned manufacturing processes using tools such a 5-why, Shainin, 8D, 6 Sigma, DOE, 6S, SCIP, PDCA.Start process-FMEA, frame and release for a handover to the receiving manufacturing engineerExecute FMEA Line-walk and error simulation to be strongly linked and aligned with CP guidelines.Develop, maintain, and support procedures, instructions and training material (PQI, CO, CP Dummy Part/ Red Rabbit Documentation).Definition of measures for closing the target gap for VA and implementation (Cost Engineering & Benchmarking)

Planning:

Design, Planning and development of manufacturing sequences and operations, equipment and resourcesDefine, Acquire, Transfer, Accept, Validate, Release and install production process and equipment according to Bosch standards (Integrations on line, new projects, participate in QGCs, Design for Manufacturing)Planning and further developing of new manufacturing sequences and operations and participate in implementing Engineering and Process Change Requests.Coordination of the Implementation and further development of manufacturing technologies in the GB (across sites) and Active exchange of lessons learned (Complaints, Equipment, Processes, ...) from other and to other Value Stream and IPN plantsExecute the quality planning (Definition of test strategies, test methods, Verification of measure and test process qualification, test data management, Q-control cycle series production).Document the quality planning.Project planning from kick of till handover to the production execution

Qualifications

· Bachelors' degree in mechanical engineering, plastics engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering or similar.

· At least two years of experience developing manufacturing methods, procedures, processes in a production environment. Should have knowledge about safety practices, inspections.

· In-depth knowledge of materials and mechanics, with application to production systems and tooling. Experience with test bench technology and mechatronics.

· Experience with continuous improvement, lean principles, and value stream mapping in a manufacturing environment.

· Should have some experience with 3D CAD systems.

· Project experience in regards of planning and supplier management for integration projects
