What you can look forward to as a Manufacturing Engineer Design changes to enhance the machine functionality. Continuously improve and upgrade equipment. Troubleshoot and solve errors and problems on production equipment. Plan work force utilization, space requirements, workflow and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency. Confers with design staff concerning product design to ensure efficient production methods. Determines product specifications for the purchase of equipment, materials, tooling, fixturing or parts, according to specifications and quality standards. Assess potential suppliers for production equipment, tooling and fixturing. Responsible for the implementation of the equipment on the floor from delivery to hand off to production. Your profile as a Manufacturing Engineer Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (BSME strongly preferred). 1+ years of experience with strong functional / product knowledge. Proficient computer skills, strong MS Office (Excel) and knowledge. Good communication skills both verbal and written. Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within Engineering. Advanced knowledge of product line(s) and engineering design principles. Experience with engineering change systems. In-depth understanding of engineering techniques and principles.
