Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary:

If you are looking for an opportunity in production assembly processes and lean production related position, to promote new assembly process technologies and continuously improve production processes. Emerson has an excellent role for you! The Manufacturing Engineering Team now need to recruit an Manufacturing Engineer to be responsible for Valve product assembly process related work.

 In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

1.Complete the formulation of process plans, preparation of process documents, and equipment tooling for assembly testing of voltage regulators and other products according to product technical specifications supporting, production line layout establishment and other work;

2.Calculate product working hours quota and maintain product process-related data in the management system;

3.Responsible for the management of equipment, tooling, tools and fixtures involved in the product manufacturing process, making or purchasing them according to process requirements;

4.Responsible for technical issues in the product production process, monitoring product production quality, and supervising bad records that occur during production Analysis and process improvement solutions to ensure product quality;

5.Train operating staff on new process products, and cooperate with production supervisors to train and assess new employees;

6.As a key promoter of Lean, promote the Lean project of the manufacturing department, use lean concepts, and continuously improve the production process; Promote the application of new technologies, new materials, new processes, new equipment, etc. to continuously improve safety, quality, efficiency, and reduce costs;

7.Responsible for the management of various process documents within the department;

8.Coordinate personnel inside and outside the department to handle various technical changes, quality complaints, implementation of rational suggestions, and organize process field inspections;

9.Maintain technical exchanges with internal or external engineers in the factory to seek optimal technical or process solutions;

10.Assist and support the improvement and implementation of the company's 5S and ESH management systems;

11.Act as the quality control system leader and quality safety officer for related products to ensure that the production process of corresponding products meets the requirements of QMS/ATEX/TS/PED/SIL, and support product and quality-related certification projects.

12.Cooperate with other departments and other tasks arranged by the company.

For This Role, You Will Need:

1.Bachelor degree or above, major in mechanical manufacturing or mechatronics;

2.Familiar with the performance, application, processing technology, heat treatment, etc. of commonly used metal materials, familiar with the processing capabilities of various types of machining equipment, and possessing the ability to assemble ability to design accessories and fixtures, and have a certain understanding of processes such as welding, flaw detection, and painting;

3.Familiar with ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, TS & ATEX and other related certification requirements;

4.Good English expression skills;

5.Proficient in using UG or other software to draw 3D/2D drawings, and proficient in using other computer office software.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

1.Those with lean project execution experience, Lean Champion & Sponsor are preferred

2.Have basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, etc., and those with experience in the design and manufacturing of non-standard equipment are preferred;

3.More than 3 years of working experience in manufacturing processes, and  familiar with the manufacturing process of valves or pressure vessel products  are preferred.
