Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead the implementation of new, changed, or improved products into the manufacturing process. This role is critical in ensuring efficient and effective production methods and collaborating with various departments to achieve high-quality manufacturing outcomes.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop, evaluate, improve, and document manufacturing processes.Collaborate with quality and manufacturing teams to implement measurement and process control techniques.Design and develop tooling and processes to ensure effective production methods.Work with vendors to develop specifications for tooling, equipment, parts, or materials.Assist operations in estimating staffing requirements, production times, and costs.Coordinate product and process changes through structured improvement processes.Design and implement fixtures and tooling that ensure low defect levels and product cost.Maintain accurate documentation of tool drawings and equipment design concepts.Provide engineering support to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Engineering.1-2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.Experience in writing work instructions and performing process audits.Proficiency in time studies and working in a manufacturing environment.Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and involves overseeing a recently remodeled facility equipped with a game room and an extremely clean manufacturing space. The role involves 80% of the time on the floor and 20% at the desk. Responsibilities include setting up machines, running prototypes, and working with operators. The team consists of six manufacturing engineers who support each other in achieving the company's mission.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $36.00/hr.
