Job Functions 

Ensures adequate plant inventory levels for corrugate and pallets optimizes inventory investments in relationship to plant efficiencies and scrap rates.   Coordinates corrugate and pallets flow operating departments based on production schedule Updates corrugate schedule daily based production and business needs.  Maintains appropriate safety stocks of raw materials Maintains raw material inventories to maximize inventory turns and remain operational.    Monitors slow moving material.  Maintains work in process inventories to maximize inventory turns and productivity.  Ensures scheduling maintains shipping commitments for effective service to all customers and advise customer service-changed instead of sales of any unplanned delays.    Coordinates with shipping department to meet customer needs.  Creates Purchase order requisitions in SAP

 

Job Requirements 

Bachelor’s degree in a related field. 5 years manufacturing experience in flexible packaging preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.  SAP knowledge is a plus.  Prior customer service experience is a plus.  Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
