Position Overview

Position OverviewPosition Overview:    Assist the Supervisor and the shop in the daily activities of the supply room as well as clerical duties. Support the shop in the ordering, receiving, and unloading of raw materials and by performing utility tasks in the shop.   I.          Essential Duties: - Perform all duties of the supply room with accuracy - Unload and receive raw materials - Basic assembly tasks. i.e. nuts and bolts, arbor press, epoxy, etc. - Operate horizontal band saw with accuracy and repeatability of +/- 1/16” - Paint, tumble, or sandblast parts as required - Help keep shop clean and orderly - Perform all PeopleSoft duties, including, but not limited to, fulfilling replenishment orders and express issues - Pack parts for shipment and/or storage - Create shipping labels and schedule pickup for small package delivery - Drive company vehicle to perform local deliveries and pickups - Order parts/supplies through PeopleSoft - Update purchase and reciept records in the Shop’s ERP system - Contact vendors to verify parts or follow up on orders - Run monthly reports - Oversee Supply Room cycle counts and reconciliation - Maintain control of inventory items in PeopleSoft - Maintain timely and accurate files as required - Monitor issuing of and conditions of supply room tools and initiate repair or replacement if necessary - Monitor hoisting and rigging equipment and maintain inspection records - Maintain library for shop equipment manual - Helps coordinate the Non-Hazardous Waste, Hazardous Waste and Empty Container Management programs as directed by the Safety & Training Manager.

Work Shift

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to out-punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts PM
