Our client, a manufacturing company specializing in power transfer equipment for utilities, is seeking a Manufacturing Associate I to join their team. As a Manufacturing Associate I, you will be part of the production team supporting the assembly and quality assurance of essential equipment. The ideal candidate will have a willingness to learn, effective communication skills, and a basic mechanical aptitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Manufacturing Associate I
**Location:** Rocky View County, AB
**What's the Job?**
+ Assist in the assembly and manufacturing of power transfer equipment following standard operating procedures.
+ Conduct visual inspections and basic quality checks to ensure products meet quality standards.
+ Move materials and components to and from workstations, ensuring the availability of necessary resources.
+ Operate basic machinery and tools under supervision and following safety guidelines.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area, including routine cleaning and minor equipment maintenance tasks.
**What's Needed?**
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ No prior manufacturing experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
+ Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Physical fitness and the ability to stand, lift, and move objects as needed in a manufacturing environment.
