Manufacturing Associate - 2nd Shift (Wovens)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:30pm - 11:30pm

What Machine Operation contributes to Cardinal Health

Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment.

Responsibilities

Operates complex in-house machines.

Conducts quality checks on the produced product to ensure there are no visible defects.

Documents applicable information regarding product quality and machine performance.

Maintains complex machines and starts general trouble shooting if needed.

Sets up and calibrates machines as necessary.

Lift, push, pull up to 30lbs of material as needed.


Qualifications

1-2 years of experience preferred

High school degree or GED preferred

What is expected of you and others at this level

Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks

Readily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area

Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications

Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution

Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods

Adheres to all quality guidelines

Works under moderate degree of supervision

Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor

Refers complex unusual problems to supervisor

Pay Rate: $17.17 per hour (includes shift differential)
