Zynx Health is seeking a QA Analyst in its Technology Department.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the creation and execution of manual test strategies that effectively deliver high quality software in the Healthcare IT field. QA analysts at Zynx Health help to define acceptance criteria for our evidence-based software tools and exercise those criteria against our applications, ensuring that the final product delivered to our customer is of the highest standard. QA analysts work directly with software development teams and product managers to verify all aspects of any application feature, acting as an independent verification of the code before passing it along to a product owner for final sign-off.

This position will be 100% remote.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop test cases based on test guidelines provided by project lead, Report defects and following them through the process until they are resolved, Inform management of projects’ statuses and of any actual or anticipated problems or delays, Implement quality assurance standards and processes throughout the organization, Drive product quality through active participation in scrum teams, Troubleshoot, triage, and provide workaround for client and internally reported issues.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Strong verbal and written communications skills, Excellent analytic problem-solving and critical-thinking skills,  Ability to be self-motivated to problem solve complex technical issues, Ability to anticipate and test for edge cases.  Experience with software development tracking systems, such as Jira or equivalent.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

3+ years of hands-on experience in manual Quality Assurance testing, Prior Healthcare IT, Clinical Decision Support, or HL7 FHIR experience strongly preferred, Experience with major Electronic Medical Records providers strongly preferred,  Experience with ZephyrScale or an equivalent test management framework, Experience working with Agile Software Development methodologies,

In accordance with applicable law, Hearst is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role if hired in Los Angeles, CA. The reasonable estimate, if hired in Los Angeles is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00. Please note this information is specific to those hired in location. If this role is open to candidates outside of location, the salary range would be aligned to that specific location. A final decision on the successful candidate’s starting salary will be based on a number of permissible, non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to skills and experience, training, certifications, and education.
