**Job Posting: Master Tech II** **Company:** PDS Tech Commercial **Location:** Pine Grove, PA 17963-9106, United States **Pay Rate:** **$19.75 per hour** **Available Shifts:** + **Weekend Shift:** **Friday – Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM** + **Team 2 Shift:** **Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM** **Position Overview:** PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a **Master Tech II** to join our team at the **Dye Plant** in Pine Grove, PA. This role is responsible for the **installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair** of **HVAC equipment, boilers, air compressors, water treatment systems, and other plant utilities** . The ideal candidate will have a **strong technical background in mechanical and electrical systems** , as well as leadership experience in training and guiding HVAC technicians. **Key Responsibilities:** + Ensure **safe working conditions and compliance** with all safety protocols. + Maintain, install, diagnose, and repair **HVAC systems, boilers, air compressors, and plant utilities** . + Perform **preventive and predictive maintenance** on air conditioning, heating, chillers, and oil heating equipment. + Troubleshoot and repair **pumps, hydronic systems, and HVAC components** . + Monitor and adjust **airflow systems and pressure control** . + Install, inspect, and repair **gas-fired boilers, chillers, and other equipment** . + Work closely with vendors and management to coordinate maintenance and equipment upgrades. + Train **HVAC Technicians** and assist with equipment modifications and installations. + Maintain **accurate maintenance records** and documentation of work performed. **Required Qualifications:** + **High school diploma or GED** (or equivalent experience). + Minimum of **3 years of electrical or mechanical experience** in a manufacturing setting. + Ability to **read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical documents** . + Strong **problem-solving skills** and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. + Proficiency in using **hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment** . + Experience with **piping, plumbing, and HVAC system layouts** . + **Basic computer skills** for documentation and data entry. **Physical Requirements & Work Environment:** + **100% standing, 10% walking** throughout the shift. + Frequent **stooping, kneeling, crouching, and repetitive hand movements** . + Occasionally required to **climb or balance on equipment** . + Ability to **lift up to 50 lbs** when handling materials. + Exposure to **vibration, fumes, and airborne particles** . **Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:** + **Eye protection** + **Hearing protection** + **Steel-toe/non-slip shoes** + **Reflective vest (where applicable)** **Why Join PDS Tech Commercial?** + **Competitive hourly pay** with opportunities for growth. + **Flexible scheduling options** , including weekend and weekday shifts. + Work with **state-of-the-art HVAC and industrial systems** in a structured manufacturing environment. + Be part of a **team-oriented and safety-focused workplace** .
