Mandarin Chinese Multi-Disciplined Language Analyst Job Category: Language Services Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * **The Opportunity:** As a Multi-Discipline Language Analyst (MDLA), you will serve as a key member of a threat analyses and strategic planning team supporting US Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) and other Strategic Partners within the (SOFETOPS) enterprise. You will directly provide intelligence and timely translation support to targeting, planning and policy development for complex projects and provide insight to senior military and Government leaders. You will incorporate Metadata and Publicly Available Information (PAI) into intelligence products. You will be responsible for mentoring less-experienced employees within the Modernization Analyses, Assessment, and Planning Functional Group (MAAP) (I3C) and across the SOFETOPS enterprise. **Responsibilities:** + Support Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Human Intelligence (HUMINT), and Open-Source (OSINT) collection directed toward the identification, targeting, and exploitation of emerging threats. + Provide specialized linguistical analysis to support the execution of multi-disciplinary intelligence fusion activities and support the SOFETOPS mission. + Perform tools-based data management and supports integration across the greater enterprise. + Conduct ongoing requirements analysis of theater-specific operations. + Collaborate and coordinate with DoD and interagency Partners to provide flexible, real-time solutions to emerging threats. + Curate and support the development of a counter-threat data repository. + Identify trends in threat development to anticipate future capabilities and reduce costs for the government **Qualifications:** _Required_ + Current Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance with Poly + Language test scores equivalent to the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) Skill Level 3/3 in Listening and/or Reading within the past two years. + Two or more years of experience in creating summaries, gists, and full translations in various textual forms of Chinese Mandarin including technical, global, colloquial, online, and slang terminology. + Two or more years performing open-source research in target language. + Able to conduct independent and collaborative research on assigned topics or target areas _Desired:_ + Experience supporting USASOC or Joint SOF organizations. + Experience as a 35P, 1N3X1, 1A8X1, CTI, 267X or equivalent is preferred + Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years’ directly applicable experience or 9 years of related experience without a degree.
