We are looking for an experienced and seasoned leader to take on the exciting role of Managing Director for COS Europe.
Reporting to the Managing Director for COS, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to lead and develop a diverse team, build brand awareness, further grow the business and elevate our customer experience, contributing to our ambition for COS to become a Global Power brand in accessible luxury.
Our European region consists of over 120 stores & online markets in 29 countries. Based out of our amazing London Head office, our European Regional team consists of more than 80 dedicated individuals working in a variety of roles. As regional managing director you will have direct people responsibility for 7 senior leadership roles within the team, including heads of HR, Ecommerce, Merchandising, Portfolio Management, Controlling (and Finance) & Marketing & Communications.
In the role as Regional Managing Director, you will be given the autonomy and overall responsibility to deliver on the next phase of our ambitious growth plan for COS in Europe, and the full responsibility of the P/L. This means optimising the customer experience, seeking out new sales opportunities and driving profitability. At the same time balancing long and short-term perspective when developing the brand both digitally and through our amazing portfolio of stores.
Take a strategic and operational perspective and responsibility of the entire P/L for the region, to ensure business success in the short- and long term.Take the Global Brand strategy and with your regional management team, lead its development towards local relevance across various customer touchpoints, from Ecom, marketing, merchandising and in store, always aligning with our ambition to build a power brand in accessible luxury.Communicate regional goals and strategy clearly, adapting communication style to suit different audiences.Set a growth plan to secure healthy financials and profit both long and short term to create successful growth today and tomorrow in an ever-changing world.Ensure an on brand and commercial customer offering, inspiring customer experience and drive towards a seamless omnichannel journey.With the Head of HR, establish a people first working environment by supporting in the design and implementation of key HR strategic initiatives aligned to the business objectives.Contribute towards and be a role model for our company values, creating a work environment that encourages colleagues to be themselves, where diverse perspectives are respected and creativity, entrepreneurship and teamwork are at the heart of our company culture.Work as part of the Senior Management Team for COS; developing the long term direction and strategies for the entire brand and business.QualificationsWe are looking for an experienced leader with a successful track record in brand building, driving sales, profitability and developing a high achieving team. You have a proven track record of delivering strong results throughout the entire P/L. We believe that you will come with an extraordinary drive to accomplish ambitions targets. You have a winning attitude and dare to challenge the status quo, leading others in a complex and ever-changing environment.
In terms of experience, you should have solid experience working across different market(s) and from prior senior managerial roles where you have developed business plans, executed them effectively and led teams of motivated, engaged staff to great tangible results. You should be an experienced leader with strong salesmanship and with passion to deliver above customer expectations. We are looking for a multidisciplined manager with operational knowledge of stores, ecommerce, and marketing.
