As Managing Director you are responsible for FlexiForce Netherlands, part of the business unit FlexiForce EMEA, ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems. Although this is a Managing Director role with local P&L responsibility, the main emphasis will be on commercial growth and management. An ideal role for somebody with previous commercial P&L responsibility or for a sales manager who is ready for the next step.
FlexiForce offers products and solutions for the residential and industrial overhead door business. The product offering covers single components, hardware sets and automation solutions.
In this position you report to the General Manager FlexiForce EMEA.
This position is based in Barneveld Netherlands.
What you will be doing
As Managing Director you are responsible to manage and oversee the business operations by establishing the strategic and operational orientation, providing leadership and vision for the effective overall management, increase profitability and growth.
Furthermore you:
Driving sales and profitable sales growth in the market, leading the account managers and having own key accounts and close customer contacts Creating and executing the strategy based on the operations and sales strategy. Responsible to manage the entire P&L. Develop and oversee the execution of, and ensure progress of, the annual business budget, capital budget and the mid-term business plan. Supervise and manage the day to day business operations including logistics and warehousing. Develop and implement annual and corporate objectives, financial plans, operational efficiencies, organizational structure, staffing and budgets that support the achievement of the long-term strategic plan Setting and initiate corrective measures in case of deviation, to drive sustainable shareholder value. Develop personal relationships with key decision makers at key customers and vendors to provide competitive advantage. Lead the management team. Manage a team of sales employees and has recruitment, hiring and firing responsibilities. Ensures the development of individuals within the organization and monitors training needs Coaches and motivates people to allow them to achieve both organizational and individual objectives.What we are looking for
