Managing Director, Valuation & Transaction Disputes
Ankura
Ankura is a team of excellence founded on innovation and growth.
The Opportunity – Managing Director – (Finance/Accounting - CPA preferred)
Ankura’s Valuation and Transaction Advisory (VTA) practice helps companies and counsel address complex financial issues, including navigating challenging and high stakes legal and regulatory matters, as well as provide in-depth advisory services on transaction, restructuring, strategic, tax and financial reporting issues. Our testifying experts have delivered expert witness testimony on some of the most complex valuation, accounting, solvency, and damages matters in U.S. Tax Court, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, and U.S. District Court, as well as in state courts, arbitrations, mediations, and international settings. We also regularly advise companies and creditors on restructuring matters, including assessing solvency related to fraudulent conveyance allegations and conducting liquidation and forensic accounting analyses.
Our team is built with highly experienced senior professionals with multi-disciplinary and diverse backgrounds and perspectives. We are driven to innovate, to stay ahead of the curve, and see opportunities where industries, technologies, and trends overlap. We provide empirically based analyses, backed up with evidence and data, and we place enormous value on collaborative lateral thinking to tackle problems and provide clarity and expertise to our clients.
We value companies, business interests, intangible assets, and illiquid and complex financial assets. We also perform forensic accounting analyses, work with debtors and creditors in restructuring transactions, perform solvency reports in contentious matters, prepare economic damages assessments, and provide testimony to government regulators.
