The opportunity
EY is looking for a ‘Devops Lead’ to join our rapidly expanding Technology Consulting team. The role will be based in KSA and will serve MENA clients.
Key Responsibilities
Play the role of DevOps lead and act as the key catalyst of the project. Understand and study the current state of software development activities, strategies, and mechanisms. Evaluate the capabilities of the current tools and the resources available to manage these tools, nature of the support, and prepare improvement proposals and requirements to support the targeted future state. Provide input towards the Software Development strategy (vision, mission, and strategic objectives) and the targeted approach of software development. Provide input towards the five-year road map and the initiatives required to be implemented to achieve the targeted future state. Provide input towards the target governance framework to support and activate the software development strategy and approach. Provide input towards the organizational and functional structure to support the target future state. Provide input towards the KPI strategy that covers the various stages of the target approach of software development (SD). Provide input towards the target DevOps Maturity Model Work in coordination with the client project team to plan the preparation and establishment of the Software Development Activation Unit: Vision, mission, and strategic goals. Organizational structure, operating model, key stakeholders, governance framework, and relevant communication tools Service catalogue. SD Strategy activation principles and standards Templates and forms Operational plan, evaluation of functions, and plan to adopt its operating model and frameworks. Contribute to Release / Deployment planning. Plan to activate and operate the governance framework. Develop the relevant standards and metrics, define measurable results, and build a reporting approach. Creation of unit’s maturity assessment framework
Technical skills requirements
7+ years of experience specializing in Devops, DevSecOps, Agile, Scrum, AIOps, Microservices Architecture Arabic speakers preferred
