What Will You Be Doing?

The Social Media Manager will play a leadership role in cultivating brand advocates and connecting with our customers as part of their overall experience with Frontier Airlines. This position will also play an instrumental role in developing and executing customer engaging and brand building content. Some key responsibilities include content creation, monitoring and managing the brand's social media channels, engaging with the community, encourage loyalty, stimulate conversions, and foster conversation around the brand.

Essential Functions

Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across multiple platforms (e.g., Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) that align with Frontier's marketing goals and drive key performance indicators. Oversee, create, and curate high-quality, engaging content, including text, images, and videos, that resonates with Frontier's target audience by platform. Work closely with and provide guidance to creative services teams for multi-media content generation.  Be highly tuned into customer sentiment, cultural trends, and viral moments and be able to quickly create content that reflects on each. Work with costumer care teams to monitor and respond to customer inquiries, comments, and feedback in a timely and professional manner. Analyze social media performance metrics to measure campaign effectiveness, identify trends, and optimize strategies. Generate and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to marketing and commercial team leaders. Collaborate with paid teams to identify and execute paid social media campaigns that drive revenue and increase bookings. Support influencer and affiliate marketing campaigns to drive revenue and increase bookings. Work closely with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with overall marketing goals. Stay abreast of the latest social media trends, best practices, and industry news and create actionable plans on how to incorporate these into Frontier social media plan. Manager and mentor a team of social media professionals and content producers by providing guidance, training, and task assignment.

Qualifications

5-10 years of social media and digital marketing experience required Previous experience managing a team A proven track record managing social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok. A strong understanding of user behavior and demographics per unique social media platform A strong understanding of platform algorithms and best practices for expanding organic reach and engagement. An eye for spotting social media trends and moments Amazing storytelling, content creation and copywriting skills Ability to think fast with sound judgement and decision-making skills Ideal candidate will have experience working with large social communities and nationally recognized brands Experience analyzing, tracking, and building reports for social media campaigns using analytics tools like Google Analytics (GA4) and Power BI. Experience using social scheduling tools like Sprout Social, Loomly, and Later. Experience with social monitoring and listening tools like Meltwater. Experience using video and content production tools like CapCut and Canva.
