Manager Service Sales - WNO

For our Sales Team in Norway we are now looking for a highly motivated and skilled Manager Service Sales - WNO. In this role, you will work together with 14 highly competent team members and report to General Manager Sales Norway.
 

The preferred location for the position is in Rubbestadneset, Norway. We offer a possibility to hybrid work.
 

What you will be doing 
As a part of Marine Sales organization, you will be part of the journey to drive the development of the Marine Sales organisation. The work that has been done by colleagues across the world sets a strong foundation in which we can build the next step in reaching excellence in capacity and resource management, operational excellence and global world class technical competence. The WNO sales team consist of 15 resources dedicated to handle all relevant business with Norwegian customers. The Life Cycle order intake is >200M€ per year. This role will be responsible for managing the service pipeline and a yearly sales of 140M€.

 

As Manager Service Sales- WNO, your main responsibilities are

Operational Management: Oversee the sales funnel and prioritize tasks for eight sales managers. Leverage growth through enforced use of CRM, data and analytics to learn more about the customers’ business context and to develop insights for the team Team Development: Coach and train the team, providing expert guidance on sales strategy, offering approaches, and calculations. Lead the team in achieving successful delivery against set sales targets i.e. Order Intake, Growth, Margin Quality Assurance: Ensure quality and consistency of Sales through rigorous review processes including opportunity review, account plan reviews, delivery team setup and offer review for large and complex proposals Sales Opportunities: Lead and participate in key opportunities in both service and project sales. Collaboration: Liaise with line managers of Parts, Field Services, and Workshop to ensure seamless operations. Team Growth: Foster the development of team members to meet the needs of WNO and CENO teams. Set meaningful targets and expectations to bring clarity and direction as well as helping the sales organisation to break down annual targets to quarterly, monthly and weekly actions Market Performance: Monitor and follow up on Norway Share of Wallet and market performance initiatives. Support: Assist in complex tenders, claims processes, and other non-standard requests. Executive Support: Provide support to the Head of Sales with delegated tasks as required

Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of leading technical sales team Knowledge of the maritime market and its drivers In-depth knowledge about Wärtsilä engines and propulsion equipment Excellent coaching skills, strong interest in developing people Consultative selling approach Customer focused and service minded attitude with a strong commercial drive Performance and result orientation Skilled in strategic planning and target setting Excellent communication skills, fluency in written and spoken Norwegian and English

In this role, some travel is occasionally required to meet with our customers around the world, even though most of the meetings are held virtually.
