Description Manages property Safety Program. Serves as the Vice Chairperson for the Safety Committee. Conducts New Hire Orientation safety training. Prepares correspondence, compiles reports, communicates with clients, assists in the adjudication of claims,
maintains files, and establishes claims for the Risk Management department.
Conducts routine safety inspections throughout the property and completes safety inspection reports. Regularly coordinates and communicates with local and state fire inspectors. Chairs property wide safety committee designed to identify and resolve potential safety hazards. Provides ongoing safety awareness through newsletter articles, new hire safety briefings and specialized trainingsessions.
Develops and implements a comprehensive property wide safety program. Responds to emergency situations to provide direction and support until situation is under control. Manages the Security Department. Assist with staffing, schedules, evaluations, training, development, andmonitoring team. Recommend wage increases, promotions, demotions, discipline, and other employment
actions for Team Members.
Responsible and accountable for the Security Shift Supervisors, Security Officers, and EmergencyMedical Technicians assigned to the Casino and remainder of property areas.
Safeguard company assets, including Team Members and guests. Responsible for investigations of loss and fraud related Security reports. Enforce the company’s policies and procedures, including rules that apply to the Internal Controls andthe Indiana Gaming Commission rules and regulations.
Review all Patron Accident Reports and Security Incident Reports. Assist with the training of new Security Team members. Escort chips, tokens, and cash. Maintain patron relations. Promotes and follows the Company Service Standards, providing superior guest service. Assists in the preparation of legal defenses for claims made against the Company. Maintains all claims logs and the claim database. Maintains chronology and records all GL activity. Owns the Emergency Response Manual as well as training exercises to test response. Assist and help schedule for the use and regular inspection of all safety related equipment and supplieson property.
Identifies safety issues and communicates with department Manager/Director to eliminate safetyissue.
Conduct and coordinate Safety and Security related investigations. Maintains required regulatory paperwork (OSHA, etc.). Submits to regulatory agencies, as required, bydeadline.
Administer minor first aid, when required If a Licensed EMT, provides EMT Services to Patrons and Team Members as necessary and within theparameters mandated by State Regulations.
Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances. Addresses errors and complaints Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for prolong periods of time (7+ hours). Must be able to work in an environment with secondhand smoke, loud noises, and large crowds. Must be available for regularly scheduled work and be able to work a variety of hours, holidays, andweekends.
