Scope of work

Responsible for integration of rehabilitation services, care delivery and programs across the continuum, coordinating and collaborating closely with Spectrum Health Community Hospitals to ensure streamline and standardized care. Works collaboratively with the director to assure alignment of services and smooth transitions across the rehab continuum, in the acute and post acute settings. Analyzes and resolves inefficiencies and inconsistency of care across rehabilitation services. Plans, administers and manages staffing, productivity, finances, quality and programming ensuring that patient care is provided according to established standards of care and practice.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in the appropriate field of rehabilitation (Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy or Speech & Language Pathology) or five years of leadership experience in the field of rehabilitation or equivalent Required.Master’s Degree in Management or Healthcare/Public Administration or MBA Preferred.Skills, knowledge, abilities typically gained through 5+ year of related experience Required.MI Physical Therapist Required OrNB-COT COTA Occupational Therapy Assistant Required OrNB-COT OTR Occupational Therapist, Registered Required OrASHA Speech Language Pathologist RequiredAHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
