About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 10 S&P Global Market Intelligence – Public Ownership Team Role: Manager The Team: The ownership team’s main mission is to provide our clients through our platform with the most accurate data on a timely manner. Our goal is to study the market’s legislation and the different public financial data sources that will allow us, together with the tech team, building repeatable processes and deliver new solutions to the market. Success is measured through our capacity of finding new ways to broaden our data coverage, as well as enhancing the collection procedures. The Impact: We provide highest quality content that is essential for our clients to make decisions with conviction. As a Data Analyst, you will support the integrity and comprehensiveness of the data set by utilizing internal & external public research sources such as government & regulatory documents, stock exchanges, industry journals, analyst reports and our internal research tools to collect, summarize, and synthesize relevant information. Responsibilities: Manage multiple teams working on collection/value added tasks within the Ownership teams. Leads teams across assigned business/region for workflow systems with a focus on managing process, productivity, and functionality improvements. Effective co-ordination and constructive relationship within internal, intra-cluster and other dataset teams across offices. May interact with internal and external clients as necessary and occasionally works on new projects and data enhancement initiatives as assigned. Owns the performance measurement processes, talent development, team engagement and VIBE for his/her teams. Generates and timely shares various status reports/updates to stakeholders. Manages/supports multiple operational or project/focused teams across offices in planning and implementing process and operational changes across different teams. Proven ambassador of LEAN culture and promoter of various concepts of LEAN, Robotics, AI etc. Identifies individual strengths to appropriately delegate work amongst team. Guide and coach leads & teams for future growth. What we’re looking for: People leader with 3+ years of managerial experience. Existing leaders at Manager role may also apply for a lateral move. Excellent leadership skills and people management skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proven ability to work with minimal direction, maintain focus while working with routine tasks. Strong in Time Management & Presentation Skills Functional and Business Knowledge: Preferred to have a sound understanding of Ownership dataset. Good oral and written communication skills. Possesses strong analytical skills and out of box thinking. Sound knowledge of Excel, Reporting Dashboards and Data Analysis. Problem Solving: Solve a variety of problems within their operational setting. Provide solutions based on best practices and existing precedents. Coordinate and manage projects from start to finish. Preferred Qualifications: Post-Graduation in commerce/accountancy/finance or business administration/management Familiarity with Blue Prism, Python, Tableau, Six Sigma certification would be an added advantage.
