Job Description **Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manger General Manufacturing 1 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Composites organization. This leadership role is located in El Segundo, CA.** The Manager Process Manufacturing will have the responsibility, authority, and accountability for leading the manufacturing activities of a given cost center within restricted programs, including quality, cost and schedule objectives and factory accountability, which will include the following responsibilities: **With this specific role, we are looking for candidates with lamination and core bonding experience.** **Key Responsibilities:** + Providing direction and coaching to technicians and other production personnel in the assembly and manufacturing areas. + Ensures team members receive the required training and prepares the daily work plans in support of overall program objectives. + Encourages and provides direction for career development of employees, including educational options for highly motivated employees. + Provides leadership/direction to ensure all affordability initiatives and opportunities for process improvements are systematically identified, pursued, and supported. You deliver excellence, strive for continuous improvement, and respond vigorously to change. **Basic Qualifications:** + Must have a high school diploma/GED AND 5 years of related professional/military experience in aerospace, automotive, military, manufacturing, maintenance and/or related environment. + Must have 2 years of prior management/leadership experience. + Must have the ability to obtain DoD Secret security clearance (US Citizenship required) as well as the ability to obtain and maintain Program Special Access **Preferred Qualifications:** + Lamination and Core Bonding experience + Bachelor's Degree + Special Program Access + Leadership experience in aerospace or a related industry + Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and the ability to effectively communicate with various levels of leadership. **Salary Range:** $95,000 - $142,600 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
