Position Summary Reporting to the Sr Manager - Performance Management, the position is responsible for driving the design and development of technology solutions to address specific, short to medium term business requirements The incumbent will work with business unit stakeholders across the Galaxy Entertainment Group to extract and refine business requirements, including complete descriptions of the specific problem domains, current business impacts and issues, and desired/required functional components Leveraging the above, he/she will work with relevant teams across IS&T and external parties, to design and specify end-to-end information technology solutions, including all physical and logical sub-systems, database structures, integration requirements and, business process and work-flow automations The role requires significant experience in problem definition, requirement definition and elicitation, technology assessment and evaluations and, IT solution design and development Primary Responsibility Assist definition of system, technical, and application architectures and in some instances the business system architecture for major areas of the business Participate in solutions design phase and perform gate keeper role of architectural governance and standards Assist and oversee the evaluation and selection of technology solutions, and the design of standard configurations Document all technical architecture design and analysis work Assist definition of technical standards and procedures Play major roles in Architecture Roadmap exercises on regular basis Requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related study 2- 3 years of experience in not less than two IT disciplines including, but not limited to, application architecture, application development, data modeling and data architecture,  technology architecture such as data center, servers and storage, networking, middleware, database management, IT operations, etc Good working experience in hospitalities / ERP of IT applications Experience in architectural design of large scale data warehouse projects Experienced in enterprise data principles, model, dictionary and rules Solid technical experience in DBMS (Oracle / SQL etc.) Make technological choices regarding products, methodologies, industry standards, and vendors  Certifications in one or more of the followings would be an advantage: TOGAF/Zachman, ITIL, PMI, CMMI Understand political climate of enterprise and how to navigate politics Ability to understand the long-term (“big picture”) and short term perspectives of situations Ability to translate business needs into technical architecture requirements Ability to estimate financial impact of technical architecture alternatives Excellent interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation Excellent written and verbal communications skills Excellent planning and organizational skills Possession of excellent research, data gathering, and analytical skills
