We’re looking for a top-tier HR Business Partner to play a meaningful role in crafting our people strategy. In line with the affiliate P&C and organisation development strategies and together with the Director P&C and the Functional Management Team you will plan, develop, deploy and manage P&C products, practices and solutions that follow business strategy and strengthen organisation culture in the Function (s). While also taking full ownership of labour relations disputes across the entire organisation.

The ideal candidate will bring deep HR Generalist expertise in FMCG or pharmaceutical markets, solid knowledge of South African labour laws, and a passion for driving people and business performance.

 

Your ‘day to day’

 

Talent & Performance Management: Implement and drive performance management, talent development, and workforce planning to build high-performing teams.Labour Relations & Dispute Management: Represent the company at CCMA hearings, advise on disciplinary cases, and support compliance with labour laws.Change Management & Employee Engagement: Lead organizational change initiatives, enhance employee engagement, and facilitate key communication platforms.Compensation & Benefits: Ensure best practices in reward strategies to attract and retain top talent.Diversity & Inclusion: Support Employment and Skills Development initiatives to cultivate an inclusive work environment.Resourcing & Employer Branding: Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to ensure effective hiring strategies aligned with business needs.

 

What You Need to Succeed

A relevant HR or Business degree10+ years of HR Generalist experience, including at least 4 years in HR Management/HR Business Partner5+ years of hands-on Labour Relations experience, including collective bargaining, contract negotiations, and dispute resolutionStrong FMCG or pharmaceutical demonstrable experience is advantageousSolid knowledge of South African labour legislationAbility to work autonomously and make strategic decisionsExcellent influencing, facilitation, and presentation skillsPlease note that this position is Cape town based, and relocation assistance is available to SA citizens within South Africa only.
