Our Network Operations team works around the clock running United’s global operation, safely, reliably and efficiently. From dispatching and routing our fleet to coordinating with maintenance line planning and crew scheduling, this team makes caring connections with our internal customers and ultimately, United’s customers. From pushback to landing, the Network Operations team is the eyes and ears on the ground no matter where in the world your United flight takes you.
Key Responsibilities:The Manager will support the development and implementation of large scale, key initiatives targeted at improving performance for operational groups primarily within Network Operations Center and Airport Operations. This position will lead all aspects of and represent operational needs and liaise with Digital Technology partners to develop and implement technology solution. This position is responsible for all aspects of each initiative thru the envision, design, build and activation (EDBA) phases.
Coordinate with various front-line operational organizations, Digital Technology, Project Management Office, and other internal organizations to collaboratively provide front-line users the best resources to efficiently achieve United's performance goals. A self-starter will use knowledge of operational performance to create new ideas, take them from concept to deployment. Identify and maintain core metrics and goals that support related Operations objectives and projects.
Evaluates new technology and process in support of Operations proofs-of-concept or deployment while supporting the business case development, design, build and deliveryWorks cross functionally to support customer impact projects, goals and metricsDetermines actionable projects to facilitate efficiencies in operations executionCommunicates objectives and initiatives to divisional stakeholders, both at headquarters and in the field, for feedback and adoptionCommunicates a consistent cadence of information to senior leadership highlighting operational performanceSupport and manage tools used to make decisions around irregular operations (IRROPS)NOTE: This position is considered as a hybrid-work schedule, 3 days in-office (Tue-Thu) and need to be flexible at both locations at the CSC-Willis Tower (Chicago, IL) and at the NOC (Arlington Heights, IL)

The base pay range for this role is $99,750.00 to $135,960.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
