As a Project Manager within Fortinet’s organization, you will be responsible for support of engineering development projects. You will serve as a liaison between software and hardware engineering, working with various cross-functional teams, e.g. engineering, operation, marketing, finance, and vendors to recognize, assess, and communicate issues and risks that impact schedule and budget. You will also be responsible for managing budgets, assets, and vendors. We are a group of self-starters, capable of providing on-site leadership within an eye for detail and quality.

Responsibilities

End-to-end ownership of Fortinet’s system platforms: from product concept to launch. Partner closely with Engineering, Operation, Marketing, Finance and other teams across Fortinet to understand their vision, objectives and opportunities for strategic alignment. Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project tasks and risks. Manage ODM/CM partners and component vendors to ensure product design quality and delivery schedule. Help manage team's R&D assets (equipment) and purchasing plan. Oversee documentation effort with technical writers to ensure all necessary documentation for how to, support and troubleshooting tools are created & maintained.

Key Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

BS/MS degree – Engineering, MBA preferred. 5+ years of professional work experience in Project Management, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Management Consulting, or other high-performance organization. Demonstrated success in managing multiple activities/projects, priorities, and people in a fast-paced, high-growth, results-driven environment  Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical/problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams. Understands and can manage Engineering development cycles; remains flexible and calm in the face of ambiguity Detailed knowledge and understanding of product development processes Experience with hardware development life cycles and ODM/CM working models.  Team-first outlook, with the ability to build great working relationships with peers across functions. Strong technical, analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills. Self-motivated and proactive; demonstrated drive for success and a passion for growth and development Ability to simultaneously focus on the near and long term aspects of the project

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $196,700-$254,500. Fortinet offers employees a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), 11 paid holidays, vacation time, and sick time as well as a comprehensive leave program.

Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
