This role requires strong technical skills to navigate multiple ordering platforms and a comprehensive understanding of the workflow from order intake to ERP system entry. About the Position + Billing and Insurance Expertise: + Ensure all orders meet billing and insurance requirements, including verification of benefits and prior authorizations. + Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and payer standards. + Workflow Management: + Oversee the end-to-end workflow for orders, ensuring seamless transition from intake to ERP creation. + Identify and resolve workflow inefficiencies to optimize order processing. + Technical Proficiency: + Utilize and manage multiple ordering platforms, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. + Train the team on the use of technology and tools required for intake and verification processes. + Team Leadership: + Manage the Intake and Verification teams, fostering a high-performing and detail-oriented environment. + Provide coaching and development to team members, ensuring they understand billing standards and workflows. + Metrics and Reporting: + Track and report on intake performance, including accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. + Use data to identify trends and recommend operational improvements. + Collaboration and Coordination: + Work closely with other departments to ensure aligned processes and address challenges. + Collaborate with HR to recruit, train, and retain skilled team members. Qualifications for Success + 3+ years of management experience in intake, billing, or a similar role strongly preferred. + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, healthcare, or a related field strongly preferred. + High School Diploma, GED required. + Strong knowledge of billing and insurance requirements in healthcare. + Technical expertise with ordering platforms and ERP systems. + Exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills. + Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
