**Position:** **Manager of Emergency Management**
**Facility:** **BayCare System Office/All BayCare Facilities**
**The** **Manager of Emergency Management** **will be responsible for leading all aspects of the Emergency Management program across the BayCare Health System.**
**Duties and responsibilities can include:**
**· Supervision, mentorship and senior-level support for a team of Emergency Management Specialists who provide day-to-day emergency management program activities for their respective hospitals, including planning, training, and ensuring 24/7 Incident Command Center readiness**
**· Development, implementation, and evaluation of BayCare’s Emergency Management plans and procedures comply with the Joint Commission, AHCA, and other Regulatory Agency standards**
**· Leading the Corporate Command Center and coordinating communications between the Corporate and Hospital Command Centers upon activation of an incident**
**· Establishing partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including Hospital and BayCare leadership and local/state/federal agencies, to integrate preparedness and response efforts for events impacting our communities.**
**· Reporting activities and findings such as Goals, Metrics, and Annual Evaluation up through their direct chain of command through the appropriate BayCare Leadership and Board Committees to include the BayCare Environment of Care Committee structure.**
**· Providing incident-related expertise and guidance to senior staff and cabinet level executives prior to, during, and after significant events**

**Minimum Qualifications:**
**Certifications and Licenses:**
+ Certified Healthcare Emergency Professional (CHEP) certification (within 2 years of being eligible for sitting for the exam)
+ State of Florida Driver’s License
**Education and experience:**
+ Bachelor’s and 6 years work experience in Emergency Management with 2 years leadership
