A day in the life:
The Marketing Manager - Value Added Services (VAS) will design, develop, modify and launch best-in-class experiences for customers across Hertz’s digital platforms looking to enhance their rental with options from our VAS suite of products.
What you’ll do:
Responsible for ideation and implementation of VAS visual merchandising and content strategy across all digital touchpoints, including booking path, post purchase, product pages, site navigation and mobile apps. Identify opportunities for better design, more compelling positioning, clearer value propositions, etc. with a goal of increasing VAS revenue while improving customer experience. Create frictionless, fresh digital experiences that increase VAS conversion. Use data to tell a story and create actionable insights. Communicate initiatives and results clearly and effectively to a variety of internal audiences. Stay up to date on merchandising best practices as well as competitor experiences. Participates in full development life cycle including requirements analysis, design, code reviews, etc. Serve as a trusted partner to internal stakeholders, working closely with Digital, Product, Marketing and others.What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in related discipline plus two years of experience in a merchandising role with a focus on consumer-facing digital experiences (or equivalent combination of education / experience). Relentless focus on optimizing revenue and customer experience together, with a bias towards action. Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences. Proven ability to deliver successfully in a time sensitive, fast-paced environment. Ability to balance competing priorities, quickly pivot, and willingness to contribute outside of core role responsibilities as needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint). Prior experience in vehicle rental, used vehicle markets or travel services is desirable.
We expect the starting salary to be around $90,000 to $120,000 with annual bonus and profit sharing eligibility. The actual salary will be determined based on years of relevant work experience
