The Manager, Marketing (Internal Communications, Human Resources and Professional Training) facilitates and manages marketing efforts to develop and execute internal communications strategies for Institute employees. This role will focus on creating, managing, and delivering internal communications to ensure that employees have the necessary information they need to be successful and engaged in their roles. The incumbent will collaborate with various stakeholders, such as Human Resources, Training Administration and executive leadership to develop effective internal communications plans and campaigns.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement internal communication strategies and plans that align with the organization’s overall goals and objectives.
2. Create and manage content for internal communications, including weekly and quarterly newsletters, flyers, employee intranet, emails, announcements, digital screens, surveys, and other communications.
3. Design and produce internal communications materials, including flyers, videos and presentations.
4. Collaborate with Institute departments and programs on the development and content management of their internal SharePoint websites.
5. Collaborate with Human Resources and executive leadership to ensure alignment of internal communication initiatives to develop communication of organizational announcements and initiatives, key issues and upcoming events.
6. Collaborate with Human Resources to develop strategic communication plans for employee engagement and recruitment.
7. Partner with Philanthropy to develop, create and monitor the annual employee giving campaign.
8. Work with external vendors to create effective internal communication materials.
9. Manage and monitor internal communications channels.
10. Measure and track the effectiveness of internal communications programs.
11. In coordination with Training Administration, develop external recruitment campaigns for training programs based on need, including creative materials, website updates, videos and advertising.
12. Work with Information Systems department to create, manage and update content on the Beacon intranet site.
13. Lead and manage the strategic direction for the alumni platform.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field required.
• Master’s degree in related field is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in an advertising, marketing, internal communications or communications related role required.
• Healthcare, non-profit, search engine marketing, or advertising agency experience preferred.
